AI Engineer / Tech Lead
2017 — PresentFolderITCurrent
I lead engineering embedded inside client companies, building their products alongside their teams. Lately I run FolderIT's AI practice, building the harnesses and tooling that AI agents run on.
FOUNDER & AI ENGINEER
I co-founded two Web3 startups. I also build AI tools and integrations that power other companies' platforms, from healthcare messaging to agent infrastructure. Ten years getting things into production.

02 / About
I grew up in Gálvez, a small town in Santa Fe, and I've spent close to ten years building software. These days I split my time between Santa Fe and Miami.
In 2022 I co-founded TheBadge, a way to verify credentials on Ethereum. The same team then built OpenGrano, which gets small Argentine farmers the financing that banks turn down — funded instead by crypto investors anywhere in the world.
At FolderIT I lead engineering for client companies, embedding with their teams to build their products and grow our AI practice — these days that means building harnesses and tooling for AI agents. One of those clients was OhMD, where I spent four years on a HIPAA-compliant healthcare platform. I also teach at UTN FRSF, where over the years I've covered Data Structures, Mobile Development and Cloud Development — and standing in front of a class is what sharpened how I explain ideas, break down problems, and lead a team.

OpenGrano
Working capital for Argentine farmers the banks turn away, raised from crypto investors worldwide and backed by the crop itself. Built on Avalanche.
TheBadge
Real-world credentials you can verify on Ethereum, with disputes settled through Kleros. I designed and wrote the verification systems behind it.
OhMD
Four years on a HIPAA-compliant platform that lets clinics reach patients over SMS, voice, video and email. On Elixir and Phoenix, I helped build the secure messaging and the AI engine that classifies incoming patient messages, alongside the frontend platform. Client work via FolderIT.
Escalante Cloud
Real-estate lead routing on an event-driven AWS stack, deciding which agent takes a new lead in under a minute. I also built the generator behind a million-page SEO site. Client work via FolderIT.
Macmillan Learning
Study apps on Macmillan's e-learning platform, one of them serving around a million requests a day, with interfaces built to pass real screen readers. Client work via FolderIT.
Freelance
Where it started, before FolderIT: React Native banking apps — virtual wallets, remote loans — plus web work in React and Node.js.
04 / Startups & Ventures
Two companies, one co-founder beside me the whole way: Agustín Pane. Both chase the same conviction — that the things people trust most, credentials and capital, work better on open rails than behind a gatekeeper.
Role
Co-founder · CPO
Diplomas, licenses, certifications — the proof of who you are and what you can do — sit locked in PDFs and private databases, easy to fake and impossible to carry. TheBadge makes them yours: portable, tamper-proof, and provable to anyone, with no single authority deciding what counts.
The bet
We built it as open infrastructure, not a walled-garden app — standards any institution can issue on. I co-founded it with Agustín Pane and led the product.
Role
Co-founder · CPO
A grain producer's biggest asset is a harvest that doesn't exist yet. OpenGrano turns that future yield into an on-chain asset global crypto capital can fund directly: the farmer gets liquidity, the investor gets real-world returns, and the bank sits out.
The bet
Avalanche picked us for its Codebase incubator, about 15 projects out of ~500, and its Buenos Aires Innovation House, alongside partners like INTA and agri-tech companies. Same co-founder as TheBadge: Agustín Pane.

Open Source
A few things I've put out in the open.
AI memory · MCP
A local-first MCP server that gives a coding agent a memory of your repo: hybrid code search plus a knowledge store, in one SQLite file, no API keys.
React hook · npm
A tiny React hook that returns the pixel position of the text caret. Handy for floating menus, mention pickers, and inline tooling.
Libraries · contributions
Smart contracts, SDKs, and subgraphs from TheBadge and OpenGrano, plus fixes pushed upstream to the libraries they depend on.
Agent & MCP experiments
Agent and MCP experiments I keep private for now. They're where the open tools above usually start.
05 / Skills & Stack
